Swan River everlasting "Goliath" - Helipterum manglesii.

The leaves are dark green, covered with short down, and look like chicory leaves. Inflorescences are baskets, 3 cm in diameter, on long peduncles. The flowers are tubular, bordered by several rows of dry ligulate flowers, similar to scales. The plant is light-loving and cold-resistant. Prefers sandy, slightly acidic soils.
Double flowers do not lose color even when dry. They are also used to decorate flower beds and mixborders. For drying, they are cut off into branches when the first inflorescences begin to open.
The plant is cold-resistant, prefers light, well-drained soils and sunny places.
Grow by seedlings or sowing in the ground in May. The optimal temperature for germination is +14+18°C. The seeds are quite large, 3-3.5 mm long and 1.5-2 mm wide, wedge-shaped. Their entire surface is densely covered with long white hairs.
